New Music: W4 – Like Father Like Son

I have been a Fan of this Legend from Inception (For those who don't know he is). From the Likes of Amen, No Go Wan Go, Solo, That Girl, Halla Me, and his "Break Out" Single Kontrol, which had mad air plays everywhere. Here is his follow-up single called "Like Father Like Son".

Apparently Fela is the Father, and he is his son. Well, looking at the way he dress, and the fact that people have compared him to Baba 70, he went ahead and used that great opportunity to give us a "hit" . Like Father like son has this catchy beat, just like Kontrol. Indomix is a Bad guy, great production.

Jumabee: Born Juwon Demas Olorunnipa is the younger brother of Sleeq. Jumabee like most great musicians started singing in the teenage choir at his church. He got his break in the Nigerian entertainment industry when he performed at the Glo rock and roll show. He continued improving his vocal skills and got signed to S2DB ENT in 2011. He featured on Sleeq’s reflection. His hit singles ‘sugar banana’ has been on the lips of most Nigerians especially in the middle belt where he graduated from. Jumabee is also working on his debut album which already has the likes of YQ, Jaywon, Vector and GT da guitar man on it. The video with GT will soon hit the screen. He teams up in this new single which he calls Fuji Tekno with Vector.

Fashion Icon, Princess Demi Set To Storm TV Screens With “Fashion Buzz” TV Show

As a fashion icon, a registered psychologist,

a radio presenter for
WRNI radio, Rhode Island, TV presenter for African Heritage Television all the United States, Princess Demi has established herself as one of the Nigerian US based presenter with the most versatile talents in the industry. Demi attended Federal Govt. College, Ikirun, Osun State, Nigeria, got her first degree at the Rhode Island College. She went further to continue with her education at the Harvard University in Massachusetts, United States, obtaining Masters in Psychology. She did not stop there, she also attended Rhode Island Fashion College.
Princess Demi loves shopping and when I asked her what made her go into presenting… She said and i quote "Its cause i have passion for it, if you check, i didn't go to college for it. I am a full time
psychologist, i present my programs on friday"…

Princess Demi : Fashionbuzz is a fashion talk show which showcases
latest style, trending hot topics, and most importantly, exposes most
tragic fashion statement of our celebrities on the red carpet. It's
fun, it's educative, and it's a must see show.

Top9jamusic: What inspired or motivated you to create Fazion Buzz?

Princess Demi: Having worked in a beautifying department, with a good eye sight for color matching, appropriate dressing, quality material, and up-to-date fashion style: I should think I got inspired by that. But after my first degree, I decided to register at a fashion
school here in the United States. This really enhanced my standard as a fashion icon.

Top9jamusic: What is the aim of Fashion Buzz?

Princess Demi: The aim of Fashion buzz is to educate, and to correct
the abnormalities in the mode of dressing of our so called celebrities. To direct them towards the appropriate ways of dressing in the society, especially on the red carpet.

Top9jamusic: From what you've seen so far on our red carpet, How/What do you
grade our celebrities in Africa?

Princess Demi: Hummmm from what have seen so far on the red carpet,
if I have to grade them, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest, I will give a passing grade of 7. Not bad, is it?

Top9jamusic No its not, When will Fashion Buzz come on our screens and which TV
station(s) should we be expecting to see it on and time?

Princess Demi: Fashionbuzz, hopefully should be on STV, TVC, and
galaxy by July. But for the time, we haven't decided yet. With good
sponsors, we should be looking at primetime (between 7.30pm and
10.00pm). By God's grace.

Top9jamusic: What makes FashionBuzz different from other fashion shows on TV?

Princess Demi: I'm aware we have hundreds of fashion talk show on
Nigeria television, but what make Fashion Buzz very distinct is because
we see what other fashion talk shows don't see, we cover what other fashion shows wouldn't cover, we critic what other shows are timid to criticize, and we definitely give credits to whom credit is due

Top9jamusic: Thank you for spending time with us Princess Demi, but before you
go, any fashion tip(s) for our celebrities?

Princess Demi: Ladies, number rule of fashion is; always remember to suck in your tummy in public places "have got a belle too, but you will never know'.

Dbanj Stars In Kanye West’s New Movie ‘Cruel Summer’

Kanye's short film, Cruel Summer premiered at the 2012 Cannes Festival yesterday, and guess whose name in listed in there as starring in the movie? Oshe!! Dbanj sir!

G.O.O.D Music might have just taken Dbanj to Hollywood.

The movie Cruel Summer is produced by Kanye West and was filmed in Qatar and features the G.O.O.D Music artists, Big Sean, Mr Hudson, Pusha T, Kid Cudi, Teyana Taylor, and of course Dbanj.

The story:

"Cudi stars as a thief of high-end sports cars who falls in love with a blind Arabic princess. But the princess' father won't allow the pair to marry unless the thief can help her see, so the hero must find a way to make it happen (metaphorically). The story is secondary to the pyrotechnics, with new music from West and a thumping surround-sound quality that makes a 3-D Michael Bay effort feel like an iPad short.

WizKid Set For First EME Tour

Nigerian pop star Wizkid was yesterday announced as one of the nominees for the 2012 BET Awards. The EME pop prince was nominated in the Best International African Act category alongside Ice Prince, Sarkodie from Ghana, Camp Mulla from Kenya, Lira from South Africa and Makobe from Mali.

"When I heard the news, I was more than happy I was ecstatic. For me to be nominated for BET Awards tells me that my music is beginning to make an impact in places, far places" Wizkid told journalists in Lagos.

He continues "I would like to thank EME for supporting me. I would also like to thank all the DJs and the OAPs who have had my back all this while. Most importantly I would also like to thank my fans, this wouldn't have been possible without them"

Last year Wizkid shocked many pundits by winning the Best African Act at the 2011 edition of the MOBO Awards. He beat seasoned artistes like Seun Kuti and D'Banj to the international prize.

The BET Awards will take place on July 1, 2012 at the Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium. International pop stars Beyonce and Kanye West lead the BET 2012 Awards nominations with Kanye having 7 nominations and Beyonce having six.

Meanwhile, It is a few days to the hugely anticipated EME tour, and there is no doubt that the unbeatable team is not about slowing down any time soon!

Just before heading to the UK, WizKid, Skales and DJ Xclusive will be performing in Lusaka, Zambia on May 25, 2012 at the Barclays Sports Center.

"We have spent huge resources planning to make sure this tour is not like anything our fans have seen before; this is very big for us, we believe with God and the fans on our side, we will make Nigeria and Africa proud' says EME director Banky W.

The tour will include big venue concerts, select club gigs, road stops, TV and radio performances as well as extended media visits.

Put together by Cokobar, Barons World and EME, the three day UK performance will kick off on June 3, 2012 and will include acts from EME –Wizkid, DJ Xclusive and Skales.

The label is also working on a pan-Nigeria and US tour, immediately after the UK tour.

It's the first-ever EME tour and an excited Banky says 'thanks for waiting this long guys. We can guarantee you that we'll have all the fun in the world. We're taking Lagos party to other parts of the world!'
